    Hi,
My truck is being repaired after a deer strike and I'm having a "go around" with the insurance company about getting the correct headlights for my 2016 Off Road. They tried (twice) to spec cheaper aftermarket headlight assemblies. Now I finally got them to order OEM but they spec'd the headlights with integrated wide angle fogs. I don't believe that's what my truck came with but.....would they be "plug and play"? I have OEM fogs in my lower bumber. Would the integrated fogs in the headlight be controlled by the same switch? I think the Sport and Limited have these type of headlights.

    Thanks

Never heard of fogs in the headlight.

    I might be wrong, however.

Those are parts that should all be spec’d by your VIN.

I think you chose the wrong insurance company!

Fogs are in the front bumper & DRL (day time running lights) are in the headlights

This shows all the various OEM headlights and you'll notice some of them do say "W/ WIDE ANGLE FOG LAMPS". I've seen this brought up a couple times here on the forums in the past but to my knowledge no one has definitively figured out what exactly Toyota meant by this. Just by briefly looking at them I suspect they are the headlights for the SR5 but I'm just guessing. In any case if you have a TRD Offroad you have the LED DRLs which makes it easy. The part numbers @Doozy4212 listed are the ones you had from the factory.

Agreed. I was just making sure I wasn't going to get the "Yea those are awesome, keep your mouth shut and get the integrated fogs" response.

By the way, there are 7 variations (14 part #s) listed for headlight assemblies for 3rd gen Tacomas. o_O

I'm assuming you're referring to the 7 headlight variations?

Sounds like you need a better insurance company.

Sounds like you got a snake as an adjuster -- or a snake in the body shop that is trying to bite you in the ass -- either way there is some dishonesty going on here --they are trying to save money at you expense -- I would complain hard and long to the insurance company's home office.
