Exactly, unless you live in Canada, then it is the freaking opposite. I would have liked an ACLB OR MT. The Sport has been good to me though.

He sure does. You have any pictures? I can remember how much power that 4cyl didn’t have, especially once he put 31’s on it. Didn’t matter though, that thing was a blast

 

I wish that I was smart enough to buy one back in the day. At least I finally made the right call.

Maybe, but they are probably buried in the garage or attic. The ones in my mind are much more vibrant.

Not much power, perhaps 165? 22RE if I recall correctly. Did have a 5th gear though. Still had manual hubs even in 1990. When I went from my FJ to the new Tacoma, my first gripe was ‘where the hell am I going to hang my drive through takeout bag... isn’t that what the manual transfer case is for?’

Me too I live in GA but there is a lot of natural beauty here and I love the state . I grew up in Huntington beach CA .At least here in GA I can afford to take big trips all over the US and can raise my kids in a non party town environment.

 

I actually thought there was another old Tacoma nestled in the trees in one pic...I think I need to take a break from surfing the forums....
