What problems were you experiencing you felt were preemptive to your cancer that you ignored?

I went through 7 or 8 years with reoccurring lung and breathing issues. all my Blood work came back normal. My protein levels were elevated but still in the normal range. I do not feel anything was "ignored" during this period in late January 2017. I started having some pelvic pain. And three weeks later I was told I was at stage 1. We caught it real early. A lot of people do not find out until they break a bone or bones. Or are in some form of Kidney failure.

Thanks. You never know how strong you are until it is time to be that strong.
As for difficult I would be lying if I said it is not tough sometimes. The hardest part is not being able to do the things I used to do. I get tired easier than I used to. people tell me "you do not look like you have cancer" not every cancer patient is thin and losing hair. I been there and done that.

ANYBODY ON HERE THAT HAS CANCER OR A FAMILY MEMBER WITH CANCER THAT WANTS / NEEDS TO TALK JUST GIVE ME A YELL AND WE WILL GO THROUGH IT TOGETHER.

Ah OK. Thanks for the elaboration.

I’m glad to hear the cancer is under control and I hope it remains that way.

Thanks! , I am already back hog hunting, Just being real careful not to fall as my Bones are still on the mend. Been mostly hunting out of a side by side right now but I will also hunt out of a tree stand in my favorite spot.
The guy's I hunt with are overly careful of/for me. Life is good :D

very cool! just be super careful in a tree stand--and wear a harness! Also let your family know when and where your stand is and when you expect to be home after a hunt, in case something happens. Good to hear you are doing good!

Very good news. I hope it continues. I don't go hunting any more but I still fish when there is water in the rivers.

10-4, My Hunting buddies know exactly where I am at all times. My Wife does not have a clue where I hunt in the swamp or it would be :argue:
Fishing would be fun if Georgia had any water

So in Jan it was time to renew my Chemo prescription. I phoned it in and the tech said all was good. 15 min later I get a text message to call back to a different 800#. I call them back and a tech told me my monthly deductible had went up. I was paying $46 a month for 3 Chemo pills. He informed me that my new copay would be $5000.00 per month and insurance would pay their part and it was $4900.00. So $9,900.00 between me and the ins company for 3 pills each month.:annoyed:
I told him to hold the order. Three day's on the phone with my Dr. office and they got me some help for 2019. and now my new copay is $10.00 per month for the 3 pills I need for each cycle.
It is so good to have resources!!! This is why some people die because they cannot afford their meds.

I kicked the bed leg on Dec 29th going to pee in the middle of the night :annoyed:Anyway I thought it might be broke but it finally started to move for me it is still swollen. Broken bones are a real hazard with this Bone Cancer. had my January Dr. Visit today and all is good. Xray showed NO broken bones.

My Cancer is still at Zero, But the chemo I take three times a month to keep it that way sure has been kicking my butt lately.
All those fighting Cancer keep up the good work and tell your caregivers I said thank you for all they do.
