Perfect. Thank you. I was thinking about getting 275's, and 17x9 wheels. Good idea? Would it still look mean? Also thank you to all who responded to the TS's question. I'm sure he is receiving as much help and information as I am.

Honestly, if the most off roading you do is some camping/hunting and get on some decent trails I think the billy 5100s set to the 1.75(?) should be fine. That, along with the rear spring TSB, is what I will be running. And I will be using my truck for camping/hiking/light off-roading.

EDIT - I forgot you were asking about a 3" lift. I don't care to lift my truck 3" because of the added costs of the UCAs and extended brake lines. I want to keep my truck very capable on-road and handle some good off-road. Just my opinion.

Soooo, it's just like all the other lift/biggest tire threads...interesting, but completely confusing by the end of the thread! LOL!

That is a great lift, many members are running this setup. Perfect for daily driving and the ocassional off-road. OME is great quality. Remember plan on spending at least 500 for new UCA if you go up 3".

Good idea, and try to stick to wheels with around 4.5" of backspacing. I think some XD wheels would be perfect.

Only do it if you have vibrations most run without, but the axle shims are used to correct vibrations

What's wrong with 17x9's? What problems could that cause? Also someone mentioned LR UCA's (Im new to this so sorry) what does the LR stand for? and are UCA's just for the front or do I need to get some for the back?

I'm going to have to disagree with you there. I have a 3in spacer lift and my alignment is not EXACTLY perfect but it's very close. And i have 285 75 16r tires on my truck. No new UCAs, No backspacing, the tires do run but NOT on the UCAs, it rubs on the inside of the fenderwell closer to the cab about halfway through the turn cycle. The tires are the Goodyear wrangler duratrac's if it makes any difference

'Light Racing', I'm pretty sure it means.
    And it's for the front.

    Do you have wheel spacers?

The tire width probably affects that. Some are more narrow than others
