    I watched the youtube video and read the DIY. The TRD Pro grill is pretty sweet if you are an FJ 40 guy.

    That truck looks amazing. I may have ordered the same Amazon kit. I used hot glue on the back of all the letter posts to ensure an extra grip. I also ordered the OEM TRD SS grill insert for like $50 on ebay. My understanding is no one else makes a rain/snow proof cover for the radar.

    Thanks for the compliment And it was weird....The grille I received didn’t have stick on letters. It came with a panel that already had the letters attached. I just had to mount the panel to the grille using 4 small screws.

    Your kit sound better. The stick on letters had me a bit nervous, but the tape used seemed pretty good. The hot glue was a tip from the video.

    That’s what is weird....the kit I bought was supposed to have the stick on letters. I was nervous about those. It was a nice surprise when I opened the box though.
