Tacoma - OVTUNE - VFTUNER - Update Info and Original Development

Not sure where all the confusion is coming from I don't recall saying customized tunes cost extra.

 

Too many damn people freaking out rather then waiting for more info that you said would come tonight!

 

If you watch TW B/T/S threads you will see a good number of people asking questions that were answered in the listing post. I think it is a problem with folks getting excited and forgetting to and/or stopping reading, then hurrying to ask a question they would have the answer to had they taken a deep breath and either read or thought about what they had read.

EDIT: 90+% of the questions I see asked on this thread have been answered multiple times by you. I will say again, You have the patience of a saint.

not sure anyone said you actually said that. but i did ass.u.me it would likely be an add'l charge for add'l work.

so, no add'l charge for a custom tune for OV kit owners?

 

Question about the power tune for 93 in development. Is there going to be a 91 version for those of us that live in area's that 93 is not available?

Sorry to ask, I'm new to this and there are now 1270+ pages to go through. Like others, I assumed extra work = extra cost.

 

No problem everyone I understand following this thread is very difficult. I'm trying to all information on one page, the tacoma community just moves at 100mph!

 

Agreed and I see it as it maybe somewhat annoying for experienced customers to see these questions asked over and over but speaking for myself if I’m planning on spending $770 on something I would like to hear directly from the man, the seller/tuner in this case. For example, someone said ECU learning is disabled in OVtune but i still wanted to ask him directly to be 100% certain.

I was gone for 2 hours and this thread exploded. Thought I missed the release party and here everyone is freaking out about handheld tuners and going bananas

A handheld would be nice, but I flash when there’s an update then don’t worry about it until the next one. If I was switching tunes or buying for the first time, I’d definitely go handheld. Still might though just to add to the OV collection of goodies

 

@OVTune , Ordered and paid for handheld kit. Guess you don't need Vin# or anything?
