Anyone run 17x9 wheels with zero offset on stock suspension? Discount tire says it fits but not much room to give in. They said to be careful on bumps. Anyone give me insight on the risks?

The rims wide to begin with then add a tire and it adds to it. I'm thinking you'll rub on one of the control arms. Probs want at least -10 at that width. I'm running an 8" rim with a zero offset and bigger tires. It wouldn't work on a 9" wheel since you'd get probs 3/4-1" more wheel and tire poke inside and outside. I'm about 3/4" away from the lca. A negative 10 wheel would give you a 1/2" more internal clearance. Also what size tires

265/70/17 dueler I believe. Stock 4Runner wheels. Not running any aggressive tires. And sounds like I won’t be able to unless I lift/spacer/cmc.

They just said the wheel is a little wide. And tread with caution with bumps.

No need to tread with caution.
