Lift Concerns

Whats up guys! My name is Tyler and i just purchased my first Tacoma and i am stoked! I was wandering if anyone could give me some pointers on ways to lift the front end? Its a 2018 TRD OFF ROAD 4x4.

 

For aesthetics? Probably just a spacer lift.

 

Any good brands out there? just trying to open my options.

Toytec 1/2 spacers with top hat hardware, keeps your geo legit and gives you an inch up front. It’s great for aesthetics without ruining your off-road experience. You won’t sacrifice any driveline angles or wreck your stock shocks. It’s a soft lift that doesn’t require hacking into what engineers engineered. Or go balls out and go LT with fox etc

 

For just looks and to clear larger tires, I would run a spacer lift. Never had issues with them for mainly street use.

 

This is the route I went, although the wait time on these things is slowly turning me into an alcoholic....

 

Not only your short term vision, but keep the long term in mind too. Obviously your budget is a huge consideration as well. Maybe consider a bilstein 6112 in mind? The 6112 is a significant step above the adjustable 5100 as it’s larger diameter and the springs are part of the package. It gives you the options of different lift heights as your vision/needs change but it’s not the same as going all out with kings and long travel.

 

All my parts arrived in one week except the RXT springs which are on back order and will hopefully be here before the end of the month....

Man I wish, Order placed on 8-24. Waiting on the RXT and the fronts. They are saying end of month to me as well.

 

They should have the fronts as they got in several about 10 days ago.
Ordered mine a little over two weeks ago and have them now.
