Kind of depends on your area. I'm socal so dark tint and nano ceramic for heat protection were a must. Hell I even did the windshield. I know it ain't legal but it's always so damn bright, works wonders now. Night driving hasn't been impared since it's a pretty mild tint.

If you're just looking to darken, shouldn't matter what you put on it really. Just make sure you find a quality installer. I got mine to match the privacy glass, and then got clear tint on the privacy glass (just for heat protection). If you do go the heat protection route though, you have to get every window done, even the sunroof or it won't really do much for ya.
