Let's see those 2nd gen Regular cabs.

So this happened (AKA, Burning Man).

 

Wish it was a 4x4 but saves me money not going crazy on suspension.

 

My lovely regular cab. Some pics from before the lift and everything, but just goes to show that these trucks can work, and that many of us use them for their intended purpose.

Now(ish)....no more bug guard..........needs glary 040 skewpt hood....

 

Purchased this in January 2019. Had to drive a 1400 mile round trip to get it. It's a 2.7/5 speed.

 

Really like your truck, and 1,400 miles was worth it, haha. What brand cap is that, and do you like it?

 

It's an ARE. They are great caps and I like this one just fine. My previous truck had the top-line ARE with the full glass liftgate, which I prefer over the metal-framed one on this truck. Otherwise, I like it.

It took a hard hit to the rear and was totaled due to a bent frame. But this is my 5th Tacoma.
