So I recently installed some new projector headlights on my 2011 Tacoma. After weather sealing the housing and a 2 hour installation, I was really happy with the look. The light output is fair, but with my Morimoto fog lights I’m not hurting for visibility at all.

My issue is this; not even 6 hours after installing, I noticed condensation already forming inside the housing... you can imagine my frustration seeing this after installing the lights just earlier THAT SAME DAY.

What more could I have done? The lights appeared to already have a seal when I opened them from the box, and I purposely resealed them as well to be extra safe. I’m not sure where I went wrong and I’m not sure what to do at this point either. Any advice would be appreciated.

It'll go away once the day heats up. If you have all the covers/seals on the back you can remove some on a dry day and let it gas out. Other option I would say to do is put some large silicon packs in the back of the headlights. Don't fret, I was devastated after the lights I spent days retrofitting started to fog up- but it goes away. Sometimes on really humid mornings it'll fog up again but only for a short while.

    Where in GA are you?
