I have a 2006 DBL CAB OR with the JBL speakers and sub from factory. I want to upgrade but I want to do minimal wiring. I'm not looking for super HiFi sound or anything but want an improvement.

I want to add this headunit:

    https://www.crutchfield.com/p_1304400NEX/Pioneer-AVH-W4400NEX.html

I then want to throw some aftermarket good quality 6.5 components in front and 6X9s in the rear. Then I want to get rid of the factory JBL Sub and use an under seat self-powered/amped 8" sub.

Do I need to run new wiring or can I use factory harness with an adapter?

Sorry to shoot you with this, but the JBL requires a bit more than minimal wiring to get a new radio up and running.

Pull up the manual for the PAC RP4.2-TY11to see what you're in for

Just installed this stereo in my truck. I don't have the JBL but used the idatalink maestro and retained everything but the factory mic. Stereo sounds great but I had already upgraded the speakers and added a pioneer amp. Also ran bigger speaker wire when I installed the amp; so I've bypassed all the factory wiring. This only took a few hours to do. The pioneer amp is under the passenger seat. Check sonic elecronix; they have a deal right now and give you a sirrus xm receiver free.
