I saw many different styles and examples on the internet and social media and this is the design that I came up with. It is similar to a few that I saw online but modified it to my needs.
I wanted it to be modular so that I can have different configurations for my outdoor adventures.
It is made of 5/8” birch plywood and has a final battleship grey latex paint finish for easy maintenance if it gets scratched up.
I will be making some plexiglass doors for the open compartment on the left and top compartment on the right, closer to the tailgate. Here are some pictures of it so far. I will upload pictures of the doors once I am finished with them...Tell me what you think......

How much were materials and how long did it take to make?

It took 3 full 8hr days to build..... 2 half days of wood filling holes and sanding... and 2 days of painting. I’m in it for a total of around $350 right now... I’ll be in it for around $400 once I make the doors for the open compartment.
