2018 Tundra TRD SPORT..

When I unlock the door with the key fob...I have only the interior light comes on...2005 GMC..when I unlock it the driving lights come on....at night I can't see to get to the truck...is this normal...

 

Call the dealer.

May be a programmable option.

 

I called ask questions..ask them just to use key fob and unlock the door and tell me if the lights came on...we need to have the truck present...stupid answer....if a new trucks lights come on I will bring it in...

 

Well.. not really. There’s no reason to try and diagnose anything over the phone. They can’t verify/validate anything, and they may not be able to walk you through how to change settings over the phone.

Seems to me they offered help and you don’t like it, so.. good luck to you here - we aren’t any different.

 

Thanks for your help..I will follow your advice...just very busy....all I ask was did the lights come on...either yes..or..no...didn't mean to be a smart!!@
