workable ride??

ok, i have read many many posts on suspension setups and i guess i am a wee bit overwhelmed. heres my deal, 04 prerunner/dual cab, stock suspension at 130k. i spend 5 days a week in my truck driving around the houston tx area doing my J O B as a service tech. all i really want is a fairly decent ride that doesn,t beat me to death. i know it's a truck and not a caddy but every time i hit a bump it rattles my chops. i don,t want to lift it and i have no intentions of leaping a tall building in a single bound. i have a KTM for that. i just want a workable ride that will last and won't put me in the poor house. suggestions?

Well that lifts the truck though... OP says he doesn't want a lift.

OME 880 coils don't lift the truck I believe, but you could also just put Bilstein 5100s all the way around and it should improve ride quality.

 

i thought you could set the billys at like .85 which is "lifted" but the op wouldnt notice it. and he has a double cab so i would think 880 coils would be too soft in my eyes.
