It does great. I like having a charcoal grill/smoker! Best of both worlds!

Wow. Did not hear about that. Glad your ok and can joke about it.

My last car was a 2002 Subaru Legacy. Great car just wanted a truck.

Just did wings for what I think is the eighth strait Sunday dinner. I should be sick of them by now, but I'm not.

I have also finally figured out how to sharpen a knife.

    With one of these

My dad uses a whetting stone but every time I try it I just dull the tar out of the blade. I think I need a dummy knife and patience to figure it out.

That looks a lot like the old Lasky system of the 80's, but more advanced. I have a 5 stone Lasky system someplace around here. I think, haven't seen it in more than a decade or so.

Grew up skinning and fleshing fur and latter cut meat as an apprentice butcher. I end up just going back to my Arkansas stones

Except my most recent set has dips in them now :anonymous: They are only good for so many times. But it is a lot and then you flip them.

A lot of my friends have moved to the Work Sharp system. Maybe someday I will too, not sure if I want to change at this point.

It is a similar concept to the Lansky, but way more precise. I have a diamond Lansky system as well. After setting the profile, I mostly touch up edges with the old moon stone set up.

I did T-Bones last night. Didn't get any pics but smoked em for about 30 mins then onto high heat to finish them off. These were simple ones just some seasoning salt on them.
