Of people I owe at least 3 OTPHJs as @T4RFTMFW pointed out.

Although I'd prefer the 12 UTPHJs in a dark movie theater. I dont get to go that often.

I think I'm on it if @T4RFTMFW's conversion is up to date. 1 OTPHJ = 4 UTPHJ

I own him 9 UTPHJs for the fairlead. And at least a couple more from other things. Shoot, I want to say there was something else to go along with the fairlead but cant remmeber....

I forgot to post this last weekend. This was parked near the end of First St. It had a bunch of stuff on it.

My wife asked if that was one of my internet truck but friends...

So 2nd or 3rd in line? Anything past that and I’m out. Your hands are rough enough as it is.

    Some really cool shit
My only other trip to the Rubicon (Dec last year) this is as far as we got. This was my second time there, yesterday morning.
    Rubicon, Oct 2018 (1 of 1).jpg

This TW organized trip was attended by my buddy from work, and myself. Maybe next time some other TW members can come along.

    Rubicon, Oct 2018a (1 of 1).jpg

    Rubicon, Oct 2018c (1 of 1).jpg

We reached the other side of Granite Bowl to find a large group of people huddled around a similar Cherokee as my buddies, with a broken rear axle. He had done it the night before and were waiting for the guy who made a parts run.

Our destination was Spider Lake. A little traffic. Not too bad. But slow going in my rig. Stopped for lunch at Walker Hill. Watched some jeeps go up. I was a bit nervous about that climb. Turned out unnecessary nerves, as Taco made it up easily. Coming down was more nerve racking. The roughest part were the steps down toward Little Sluice. I rode my skids and sliders down that one. It was windy as hell at Little Sluice/Spider Lake. And cold. Found out you can't camp at the lake with vehicles, but must park your rig, and haul your shit to your spot. Decided to head back towards Walker Hill. Got stuck going back up the steps, and had to winch up. @EDDO, when I went to use the winch, nothing happened. No movement at all. Traced the power line from the winch and it turns out we never connected the damn thing to power when we did the re-wire job. Got it hooked up and hauled myself up.

Decided that the spot near Walker Hill wasn't what we were looking for as our Saturday night camp. Decided we would run for one more hour, as it was getting late. Made it back to the turn for Wentworth Springs. We had an idea we'd go that way home. A Wrangler ahead of us made the same turn. He was a 100 yards ahead. We caught up with him as he was hanging off a serious drop off. He had not scouted ahead. His right front wheel was over the edge and the left rear tire was airborne. He couldn't move. My buddy and I both stood on his left rear bumper area and got his rear wheel on ground so he could back out. Then we gave him a decent line and guided him down the step. No way was I going down that, so we backtracked almost back to the main road and found a great camp site.

On the way back through Granite Bowl, heading home, we ran into a couple Wranglers, one with a broken rear axle. He broke it at the same spot the Cherokee did the night before.

Damage sustained: Nothing major. Slightly bent the right leaf pak drop hanger. I haven't gotten underneath to see how badly the skids got racked. Only the t-case skid is steel. The other two are aluminum. It is not an exaggeration to say that there are a lot of shiny rocks with aluminum sparkles on them, between Gatekeeper and Spider Lake. Scratched up my new SCS wheels. No surprise there.

Fun time. A lot of work.

More pics from my phone forthcoming.
