Just got a 05 Tacoma v6 and am wondering what I can do maintenance wise? I changed the oil and oil filter and air filter, what else should I do thats pretty easy? What fluid is most important to change? Transmission? Differential? What would you guys do? It' got 100k miles and I don't think it got its 100k mile servicing . Thanks

The truck also makes this squeling noise when I first start the truck up in the morning, it sounds like a belt kinda. It makes the noise for about two minutes then stops. Any ideas ? Thanks

I'd post this in the general forum... you've reached performance forum. All we like to do is talk about which stickers add the most horsepower.

    A thing or two...
As was mentioned, do all the fluids. Flush the brake and power steering fluid and change the rear diff and transmission. If you have the automatic, then have a flush done. I'd check the plugs as it seems that people always post saying the plugs were never changed on their used Tacoma. The v6 is a 30k or 60k plug change interval. If you're at 100k, you're do for a coolant system flush, as well.

The squealing is most likely the serpentine belt, an idler pulley bearing going out, or a weak tensioner, so a new belt, idler pullies, and tensioner wouldn't be a bad idea.

I would change all fluids but brake and power steering. If those two fluids look OK I’d leave. I’d do the brake fluid on the next brake change.

I would place all on equal priority.

I would also do a trans flush, not a drain and refil.
