I noticed yesterday that my truck is leaking coolant that seems to be coming from the water pump. Got up this morning and had a big puddle under my truck. If I am going to change the water pump, should I go ahead and change the timing belt as well? If so, what is the best kit that I can buy that includes everything I'll need. Thanks in advance!

Some do, some don't, I believe the difference between non cooler and having, is the metal tube on the side of water pump, maybe someone with more knowledge will chime in

Who's the parts guru on this forum? Maybe calling the dealer with your VIN# can assist you????

Based on my recent experience, if you're going as far as the timing belt, I'd recommend replacing the cam and crank seals.

Yea I'm going to do the whole kit as seen in the link. Comes with cam and crank seals.

Just got done doing the valve cover gaskets and also the timing belt. Used the Timmy videos and did the whole shebang (cam and crank seals). I also replaced the spark plugs and wires.

The best deal on OEM parts for the timing belt/water pump was the ebay kit. Note, I also replaced the idler pulley (Rock Auto) and also the power steering pump belt tensioner.

Anybody have a link for a kit without oil cooler? Apparently mine doesn't have an oil cooler, called the dealership with my VIN and they said mine does not.
