I lost money for sure. Always do in aftermarket parts.
They give me 24.5k with 57k miles.
I left some aftermarket on it that I either couldn’t replace with stock or would just have too much trouble selling such as the cap, bilsteins, wheels/tires and Prinsu rack that was through bolted.
They’re asking $28,900 for it now.

Really Nice set up! TRD wheels look so good on this truck. Is your stock suspension or did you add anything to fit the wheel's (17in right?) and tires?
I got a pair of those same husky bins. What lock is that? I got master locks and was running a cable through them.

I got one of the lift/ leveling kits in the deal. Don't know the details but i needed it to fit the 17 wheels 33" tires.

If I sell my FJ Cruiser that is set up for off-roading I will probably use the money to add a more beefy off-road lift and would like to get more height out of it but this will do for now.

I am not using locks they are bungees with carabiners on each end. Carabiners attached to the back D rings keep the Husky bins from flying out and the load bar keeps them from sliding forward. I didn't lock them they are just my bins for putting groceries not to worry about anyone taking them

Finally installed the Borla exhaust that's been sitting in my garage for 1.5 months.

I will note that having a motorcycle lift was a HUGE help removing the stock exhaust and holding the Borla muffler during the install.

I also painted the chrome tip black.

I've been contemplating painting my tip as well. Mine's been on my truck for a few months now.

I originally was going to use just VHT high temp paint but I didn't like the look so I went with a semi-gloss paint I had at the house. Probably a bit too shiny; if I had to do it again I'd use a matte black.

    VHT high temp paint:

Yeah, I have a can of matte black VHT that I used on my stock exhaust. I do like the way yours looks with the glossier black.

I'd have to do a lot road grime and the suck stuck all over it because I didn't have mud flaps. So that would have to be cleaned off first.

I used some grey primer paint to make sure my expedition trailer matched (almost) my truck. Also, the Galactic Empire finally appropriated my ride!

Can you post a couple more shots away from the truck at different angles? This hood wrap is something I keep going back and fourth with...

I like the hood wrap with the sr bezel. I’ve been contemplating this or buying an OEM hood. Nice to see the complete picture

Cement pros are the coolest. Should have stayed a Pro only color.

You can. Don’t be a sucker. Those little PRO parts like the shift knob and what not are easy to find if you know where to look. There are better parts out there anyways...like Molle seat covers. It’s all flashy marketing to get you to think you are getting special stuff. PROs are way overpriced for what you get.

The pro was worth $2k more to me. The problem is they wanted $5k more, and they were hard to find.

Had Cement been an exclusive color, I would own a 4runner.

I could get the 4runner Off-road for the price of a Tacoma Pro.

This is a personal decision of course . No right or wrong answer

I would have liked a PRO, but the $9,000 price difference made it impossible to justify. My dealer gave me a good discount off sticker, but wouldn't budge on the PRO.
