Hi @boostedka, my driver's side is 23.5" and the passenger side is 23.25." That's with Bilstein 5100's instead of OME shocks and a 3/8" polyurethane spacer from Wheeler's Off Road to correct taco lean.

Thanks for the info. I'm thinking about switching to OME up front and I am unsure about 880 vs 881 on a reg cab. I've seen guys go either way with it and been happy. How much has your front end sagged since installing the OME kit?

That's a hard one to call. I have 32" tires and no winch, you have 33"s and a winch. My 880's haven't settled at all and they've been on over a year and a half. In fact, I think they even grew a bit when I switched from stock to SPC upper control arms. I was going to buy 881's but got a good deal on the 880's from another TW member. It worked out because I got a lot more lift than I anticipated from the 880's.

@Jiveydude has had 881's, 882's and two brands of 33" tires on a regular cab with a winch, I bet he could steer you in the right direction.

I had my first straight up failure of a component since I bought Whitey 3 years ago. But it’s probably not time for a complete vehicle part-out, yet.

What's the part number and what did you pay for it?

    Thanks.

It is 84140-02020. I paid $175 for it at the dealership. I didn't do any bargain shopping online. The left signal abruptly stopped working and I wanted to fix it immediately.

Yeah, I’m one of the few who actively uses turn signals instead of letting jesus take the wheel.

I finally got my @Plastics Guy front bump stops on. The left side took less than a minute. The right side took hours because the weld nut inside the LCA broke free. I had to drill a hole in the bottom of the LCA, wallow it out with a carbide bit so I could fit a deep socket through, and track down an M10X1.25 flare nut to use instead of the weld nut. Then I had to brutalize the old bump stop with an air hammer until it popped off. Then this morning, less than 12 hours after the install, I had to make a panic maneuver on the freeway in my lifted truck on skinny tires with no sway bar. The new bumps made it mildly scary, rather than a pants-shitting 75 MPH barrel-roll into oncoming traffic. So thank you again, Plastics Guy, for a top-notch product.

I can't remember where online I read about this mod because I ordered the parts 5 or 6 weeks ago and they just showed up.

Some intelligent person figured out that these Honda wiper fluid nozzles fit 1st gen Tacoma hoods perfect. Then you get adjustable nozzles that spray out an even fan pattern across the whole windshield, instead of the swollen prostate pee-stream you get with the originals.

I can already tell this will be the best cheap fast mod ever for foul weather.

Swollen prostrate pee stream is by far the best way I’ve ever heard to describe dysfunctional wiper fluid nozzles:rofl:

I get the swollen prostate pee stream on occasion, so I can relate.

Edit: And BTW, we missed you this weekend.
