Does anyone run plexiglass between the bars or on top around their equipment like panels? Seems like a possible way to make the rack more streamline when not loaded down to gain a few mpgs and reduce noise. I know CBI just came out with accessory panels. I'm sure the most noise is coming from the deflector.

I have a thule castaway (discontinued) as my flyer rod holder, and rather than trying to use the slots on the prinsu, I got an extra 1x1 cross bar so I can use the original hardware to attach (the prinsu comes with one, I needed 2).

I am not sure how those newish rod vaults attach, or the dimensions of the frontrunner crossbars, but something to keep in mind.

My opinion is that the prinsu and frontrunner are over engineered if you're only planning on fly rod holders. The oem rack is probably more than enough for just that. I plan on doing slightly more than just holding fly rods, so went prinsu. I also went prinsu over frontrunner for looks (ie personal preference).

I just put it up Sunday, but I have kinda. My drive home always seems to be a headwind. It isn't so noticeable in the morning, but the way home gets a little loud.

I just ordered the Prinsu. When I first put it on, I will just pull the drip molding out and not put holes in it, I'll leave it out. If I like the rack, I will do the holes and put it back on probably in the spring. What cleaner did you guys use to clean out the channels?

Looking to pick one up for my Access Cab, as well. I don't mind drilling holes...hell, I cut up my front fenders, inner fender liners, chopped the bed sides for the CBI hi-clearance, etc. The wait time sucks, but it sounds like it's worth it. I'm running a Front Runner rack on the Snugtop, and would run one on the cab if they made one for ACs, but oh well.

Anyone have photos from their AC install? Or even just mounted? Seems they're really, really scarce.

Exactly this. I just got back from a 2 night trip in two different spots. It would have been a heck of a lot easier to throw some stuff on a roof rack. Traction boards, shovel, ax, gas, water. Less to dig out and it would've been easier to sleep in the bed if I wanted to without everything all over the place. Don't want to rent a trailer for this extra random stuff and the 55mph rule would've been terrible on our drive home. Soon I will go with a prinsu rack to make a quick weekend trip much easier

Where do you all recommend buying from for the quickest turnaround? Directly from Prinsu, CBI or somewhere else?

I would go w wherever u can get the best price. I got mine from a site called truckbrigade.com. they gave me free shipping and got it to me faster than i expected. They told me it was going to be a 3/4 week wait cause the prinsus were in production. I got it in less than 2. I think regardless of who u order from, its getting drop shipped from prinsu.
