My truck didn't originally come with flares, I think these are aftermarket bushwacker flares, which is why they look more glossy than the OEM ones. They were on the truck when I bought it.

I personally would recommend the 10.5s since the 12.5s caused me a lot of rubbing issues. My rims are 15x8 with 4.5in backspacing. Im sure others have been able to use 12.5 with spacers or different backspacing but im sure they all have rubbing issues to some degree with a 2-3in lift.

How are your tires doing? I could change my mind and go 33" 10.5" R15 KM3 and use those as my daily instead of the AT, heard they are pretty good on payment as well just hope the thread lasts long on payment.

I have not put enough miles on the KM3's to be able to give a good review of them. I can say they are great offroad and onroad besides the extra road noise. The K02's were great tires and had virtually no road noise. Since its your daily, i would say go with 33x10.5 k02's. I dont think you would regret it. I offroaded with my K02's plenty and they are great tires.

I really like that look. I’m in the process of buying some tires from a well known TW member. Just don’t know it’ll give me the same look at yours. So really have to make sure I do cuz spending a hefty check and not getting what I’m lookinf for would be a bummer.

So I have decided to learn how to weld so I can do my own work. My first task will be adding all of my frame kits, boxing in the rear and doing my friends sliders. Just purchased a Lincoln electric 140 welder and a big bottle of gas. Should be a good learning experience.

That’s awesome! I bought a very similar set up a few years ago from a local dude on CL. I’m definitely not great at it still compared to others out there, but it’s definitely opened up a whole new realm of possibilities.

    Need some advice.

I’m in the progress on adding frame kits to the whole truck frame and have finished the front and mid sections. I have a 95.5 Tacoma and I know there are differences in leaf springs between 95.5-97 and 98-04.

Since I’m going to be welding new leaf spring mounts in the rear, can I switch to later year leaf springs if I change the eye to eye distance? I think it’s 50in on the 95.5 and 55 on 98+. I plan to buy new leaf springs for the 98+ tacos if this is something I can do.

I need to respray my rockers. Is the paint you used easy to get a hold of and is it textured or am I just seeing the factory texturing on the rockers? I have been painting for years but never seen this brand.
