Not quite as scenic as y'all's, but went Camping/Trail Riding this past weekend w/ about 20 plus other Tacomas from the TW Florida Section, we had a Blast. #PopUpLife

 

Last weekends run

Stayed nice and cozy in our Drifter!

 

Some time in Crested Butte.

 

Route 66, somewhere in Oklahoma.

Edit, my mistake- I realized this is the camping thread, not the scenic places thread. Oh well. Enjoy it anyway! We camped in the back of the truck a good bit during our trip so it kiinda fits haha!

 

East Harrison to Nahatlatch. Spent one night near the hot springs and another at Nahatlatch.

 

Looks like a nice trip. You caught some good weather! What hot springs was that? I was just up at Sloquet a couple of weeks ago...camped in the pouring down rain with about 100 other people.

 

I want to do what i see above with using a hose and a propane bottle instead of the small tanks. Anybody have a link to the tank and hose pictured above. Thanks.

just a #5 tank I personally use an #11 same height as a regular tank but small around like that one

thanks for that the link . I have a Coleman stove and the hose i found does not look like it will hook right up to the stove. Questions is when you use this hose to the tank do you still use the attachment that comes with the stove or is there a way to go straight from the tank to my stove. I want to stop using the attachment show below. hope i am making sense.

There is no way to avoid that attachment. They are extremely annoying but thats just the colman stove for ya. When i was in scouts we used to go through those attachments like a fat kid eating candy on halloween.

 

Just bit thebullet and buy a camp chef!!!

your the best exactly what i was looking for, now how to hook it up to a bigger tank. do i need the hose i have listed above or should there be an attachment or will this one just work. looks like this one will only work with the small bottles.

 

Yeah you still need the hose you listed. That's how I use it. Basically two hoses linked together.
