Hey y'all I've been lurking for a while. I'm looking at a new Tacoma myself. Decided to join and take a more active part in the conversation. Thanks for having me.

If I lived in Seattle the name would bother me. I'm not sure I would buy a Toyota Austin or a Honda Houston Etc.

Thankfully I don't live in Tacoma. However it was named after Tahoma which is the real name of Mount Rainier like how Denali in Alaska was called Mount McKinley for years.

Ah makes sense . We name our cities after imigrants who moved to a different country refused to adopt the new countrie's customs and then lived as illegals for years. Kind of ironic when you hear Texans complaining about border walls.

Except Dallas. Dallas is a native American word that means shitty. The Shitty Cowboys

As a someone from Texas, I agree and the irony is staggering. Also as someone from Houston I must say......fuck Dallas.

Man the Sunday game was unreal. My two favorite teams won. #1 Texans and #2 whoever plays the Cowboys.
