Anyone know anything about Procomp's old explorer series light bars? Decent or chinese junk (i know all light bars are made in china but some are great, some are terrible..)?

Looking at their stuff, it looks to be from the "good" end of the Chinese light bar spectrum. If you're interested in any of their lights, shoot me a link to which one(s) you're thinking about and I'll send you a link to the non-branded version of the same light, which will be half the price for the exact same thing.

(I spend way too much time nerding out about light bars and know more about them than any normal person should LOL)

It looks like it's a discontinued single row 20" Pro comp bar. Someone is selling it local for 80 bucks. I looked at some rigids and Bajas and cant justify the purchase of something that I barely use.

(this one has projector lenses on it, so it actually has a bit of a cutoff to the beam, which is nice)

This one does red or white light

Thanks Jeremy @Skootter14 for selling your bumper to me. I ended up hacking up my original bumper to fill the gap between the grill and bumper and it turned out pretty good. Now I have an excuse to buy more lights.

Speaking of lights, looks I need new ballasts for the HIDs...

I switched to LED's. Ballasts don't seem to last long for me.

I don't trust the technology yet for aftermarket LED headlights (but it's all I'll run for auxiliary lighting). Also, I'm a proper headlight bulb nazi and I'm not going to put the wrong bulb in my projectors. :D

Yep. Everything I've seen so far is that any aftermarket LED bulb doesn't perform as well as a proper HID kit. They might look brighter up close, but have bad throw compared to HIDs. I am running LED highbeams, because they were free and I never use my highbeams...auxiliary lighting > highbeams.

Factory LEDS are a different story though...

I run the Saber Pro led high beams and they are monsters. They seriously are just as bright if not slightly brighter than my light bar.

The factory headlights for Shaunas IS350 F are $1200 a side so I'm guessing the quality is higher than the pair of LEDs I got for $80 on Amazon.
