Thats interesting, the Halogen Hella 500s are a very known and decent light. I had not seen that they came out with an LED version. Not much info on output, performance or light color. The forward facing LED does not allow for the same beam control as something like the reflector based KC Pro-Sport G6s, which will be higher performing, but that may not matter for your application being a high beam light. The forward facing LED design of the Hellas will be thinner than an a reflector based design.
