Anybody else having issues with their bed tie down D ring getting warped after continual use? Seems like its pulling the entire thing up...20181010_110719.jpg 20181010_110719.jpg

they aren't very strong to begin with, get high strength ones and put them through the bed bolts.

Those ones aren't designed for much force, check the backing plate under the bed.

Isn't that the bolt that holds the bed on? Wont be a backing plate as it threads into the frame.

Those two are just in the bed, not the frame. There's 6 long bed bolts in the frame that you can add d rings to.

Gotcha. I pulled the front 4 and added d-rings to them for 6 total. I assumed that's what the tears were as well.

Those look nice, do you have a part number and will they swivel or are they locked down facing that direction?

......did you cut holes in your bed mat?

    Those are from Amazon
DC Cargo Mall 10Pack 2" Diameter...

Pretty cheap but quite strong. I used them to secure my motorcycle many times. When not in use the fold over and are lower then the bed ridges. No bed drilling required. Just remove the factory bolts that hold the bed on and use those bolts. The holes in the base of the hook does need to be drilled slightly bigger to make fit.

Also I dont know how well they would work with a bed mat. I did climb under there and it looks like they bolt right to the frame.

That’s not a bend D ring, it looks more like a stretch / bent bolt or something worse. Doesn’t that bolt go directly to the frame? If so I doubt you are pulling the bolt up, I remember seeing a similar pic but on one the the front bolts, and it was the bed moving down due to rubbing on the frame not the bolt moving up. It’d personally get under the truck and take a better look, and remove the bolt and check.
