It was dark, lights were on, plug was janky. When I tried to plug in my lights with the 4 pin plug, the plug sparked, and that was all she wrote.
I have no trailer lights at all and after testing the pins in both plugs it seems I have lost everything. The truck itself seems unaffected. I looked at the fuses under the hood and under the dash and could not find anything about an "everything" fuse. All the posts I have come across online would indicate there are different fuses for running lights and brake lights, etc. but for me it seems the entire thing just died.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum, the towing fuse is a 25 amp, did you find that one?

Thanks! When you mentioned this I went back out and read all the fuses. Apparently my eyes or brain is a little janky as well, since I never even saw the word "towing" in the fuse box. There was a pair of fuses controlling it and the 30A one was blown. Without going into all the details, the trailer cord had been drug on the ground and the ground wire was actually cut in half, so at the time I went to plug the lights in the wire was shot. The spark happened and it was then that I saw that the lights were out. When I replaced the fuse and they didn't come back on, plus the fact that only a single fuse was blown, I started looking elsewhere and it was then that I came across the cut wire. So there were two problems that happened at the same time which was what also made it so difficult to figure out.

I am including the fuse box picture with the pair of trailer fuses in case anyone else cares.

    Thanks again, Guy
