    I remember party telephone lines into the early 80's. The teenage girl across the street was on our shared line a LOT. So much for privacy...:)
    I also remember when it was cheaper to drive to a town an hour away than make a phone call to the same place for an hour.

    Close. You would roll up to the check out conveyor belt (there was space provided for the cart to roll under it), drop the front gate and push off your groceries onto the belt. :thumbsup:

    An added bonus to this type of cart was it had enough space to ride on the bottom. :D
