We both like Asian martial arts movies ("Hero", "Mongol", "House of Flying Daggers", etc.) and we ALWAYS watch them subtitled - they're SO much better that way!

I brought "True Legend" on our trip, and somehow the subtitle file got corrupted or is missing, that was kinda weird trying to watch.

That's about what it was here too. The days are getting better.

I don't even know why I try to plan a day out anymore. Was all ready to go this morning when one of our cops text me for a ride to go get his work truck. It actually worked out because I had to go to the same business to get a quote on a light package for my truck and it gave them a chance to dry fit the control boxes and get a better idea of what I wanted plus he had the lightbar on the bench wired up so I could see what it looks like and all the functions. So I guess I'll get back to the plan tomorrow.

When we have a drill or otherwise I’m supposed to show up at the fire with a extinguisher

    Real fire, hope I don’t find out:bananadead:
The hospital is not evacuated. They call it “defend in place” and only move those in danger.
Been a furniture mover the last two nights, hope tonight is uneventful. Tomorrow off:D

Wifey replied to some deal from SiriusXM, and wound up with 2 free tickets to a little show around the corner from us...

    IMG_4772.jpg

So what the heck, eh? Got a friend to watch the kids and we wandered over to Belmont & Sheffield for the show. Turns out they were basically doing a pre-tour practice before starting their upcoming world tour. We did the sweaty, sardine can, up close, general admission bit for the first half of the show, just so we could prove we're not that old yet...

    IMG_4773.jpg

But then eventually made our way to a much more spacious and well-ventilated area behind the sound board (and near the bar) because we're also a bit wiser...;)

As much as I want my peace & quiet & 27 acres out in God's country, I feel like I'm stuck here because I'd miss too much spontaneous chit like this.
    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
