Anyone who runs it has to run a plate bar.

Is there a plate bar that has been made specifically for this set up or go to the local hardware store type deal, and thank you for responding!

From a stop to acceleration? During acceleration smoothing out no issues?

Got a decent take off vibe (not bothersome at all) it's the one between 50~58mph that's irritating me a little.

You just need a chunk of 1"x1/8" flat bar maybe 6" or so long, and drill two holes in it.

Mind's still doing good too. Installed it and never looked back. It's definitely the way to go when you need a new cb

I've been running the IEDLS bearing now for about 7-8,000 miles. Smooth as butter. I did a short write up on my installation that you can search.

Can't say for sure about the prerunner, I'm sure someone knows. The Spicer bearing is a very low cost option. I bought both just to look at them. If I had seen both ahead of time, I would have just bought the spicer item and saved the money. The IEDLS might have a slight advantage in life span, bot both are great bearings for this truck.

Note that all of these alternative bearings require modified mounting! They are not direct OEM replacements. There are several threads on this.

Good deal, thanks again. I'm going to wait until somebody can verify PreRunner fitment.

Non of these options are intended as Tacoma replacements, 4wd or prerunner. They just happen to work but not as a straight bolt on, needs some spacing and flat steel bar. I bought an IEDLS CB but I've yet to install it. Admittedly I'm nervous about getting the spacer length right. Honestly it's surprising that someone hasn't yet made a poly cb replacement for tacos

I'll take it! It's polyurethane too, right? Not rubber like OEM?
