    Not quite. The way I've described it, your lights would only come on with the switch ON and the high beams ON. Apologies for the confusion. I should have quoted 67siaa's post. What you're wanting to do will be a bit of a PITA IMO. There are a couple of ways to do it. Perhaps DirtyBrad or nzbrock can sketch up a wiring diagram. I would, but I'm at work right now.

    No worries, thank you. I wanted to keep the option to turn the lights on independently of the high beams. I'll look in my engine bay and make a sketch of the relays and wiring I currently have. I believe they're either 4 or 5 pin relays and I have them wired to the in-cab switches with the switch illumination coming from add-a-fuse locations in the fuse box below the steering wheel.

    Update: I found a less expensive diode to use from Amazon. Check amperage, these are rated to 3 amp (3 amps x 12v = 36 watt)

    I did my LED additional back light last night:

    A- Light comes on when you shift to reverse

    B- I install a switch on the bed that can turn the light on & off on it’s own

    The wiring is the same as I shared earlier. Works perfectly.

    Aw too bad I ordered the others already, I'm planning to tackle mine on sunday. Haven't decided if I want the bar and ditch lights to high beam or just the ditch lights

    So I'm looking at my wiring now, if I run an fuse tap for each high beam wouldnt I simply need to tap a wire into the supply line running to the switch?

    If I recall correctly, you already have your light bar and other lights to switches.

    What you are trying to do is to add the ability to turn them on with your high beam.... right?

    So let’s forget about your switches for now.

    Add the diode and the power feed from the switch goes to one input terminal. Now run a wire from your high beam to the 2nd input terminal on the diode.

    Would that be the supply or load wire from the relay? I assumed supply (white), so I can tap that wire from my harness and I'll take the other from the left hi-beam. Then duplicate that for the ditch lights. For my power out I need to take the single point on the diode to the power out from the relay?

    I have my auxiliary spots hooked up to my high beams. I figured anytime I want the extra light I will already be using my highs.
    The + for them comes direct from the battery. The trigger for the relay is a add-a-fuse hooked up to the high beam circuit in the fuse box under the hood. I also have the switch that came with the wiring harness mounted on my dash. It is a override off switch. This way when I go for a inspection or something I hit that and the highs don't trigger the spots.

    No worries, thank you. I ran out of daylight so postponed it until I have a few hours. I didn't realize those posi-taps required the wire to be threaded through them before splicing so I'm looking into some other options now. I didn't want to run a wire all the way into the cab where the harness runs but that may be the cleanest option without using one of those crimp-style splices.

    I’ve got a relay for the light bar in the engine bay already. It came with my CaliRaised kit. Will that be the same as you have pictured?

    What will your setup do, functionally? I’d like to be able to turn on my light bar switch, but have the light bar only come on when I turn on high beams. That will also allow me to use high beams without the light bar.

    Don't know which relay came with you kit, what I used is this
    $16 EPAuto 30/40 AMP Relay Harness Spdt 12V, 5-PIN SPDT Bosch Style - 5 Pack
    one My set up only allows the light bar to function (on/off) with the high beams & its controls. I do not have a separate switch for the light bar.

    You can add a switch too..... you would need a diode for the "correct amperage".

    Below a sample on how to use/connect the diode, the principal is the same - this is for my back up lights:

    Power 1: The tail light = your high-beam
    Power 2: To bed Switch Panel = your switch


    Diode takes two separate power inputs to one output.

    @Kremtok I used two diodes and wired my ditch lights and bar to both come on with high beams, whether the buttons are pressed or not, and I can still use the toggle switches to activate them independently of the high beam switch.

    Your setup will be a little different but if you need me to sketch what I did let me know
