I was thinking 2 bolt at each corner but I don't know if the composite bed will hold up?

Why? What would you gain by this and not just rolling your bike in the bed and using tie downs?

I could haul two bikes and they would be locked in. But you are saying just to use the tie downs. I get your point. I was maybe working too hard on using the bike rack I had in the attic...

Would definitely also limit the usage possibilities unless you made it removable...
Best just to use tie downs of rig fork mounts to the rail.

I made a similar decision long ago... bolted fork mounts to bed... was super annoying for moving large loads. It didnt last long at all.

Good, been there done that info. Hell, I have the front cargo rack thing. I think I will get two bike adapters....probably get more than enough from this BMW roof top hauler to pay for those.

Post 39 on pg 2 is what most of my buddies use for tacos, sideways works in a pinch too but it's not my favorite.

Homemade PVC bike rack. It can use in the truck bed or on the garage floor. Simply throw the rack in the bed no bolting it down and push the front or back wheel into the rack, no tie downs needed.

I was just about to install my wife's Rockymounts into the bed of my truck, but then I realized it would be a tight fit, and that's with the front wheel off of my bikes. Anyways, I ordered a hitch mounted carrier from Amazon. It should be here on Friday. LOL!

Works Great! Plenty strong enough. I can shake the whole truck with the racks and not a hint of give.

Why not get em mounted up on crossbars attached to the tracks. I did this, and it frees up the bed to load up my camping gear, and I can still roll a tonneau over it when i take the bikes off.

The front rail mounts are nice. I still might end up going with those. I had this BMW rooftop system in my attic and some free time.
