That’s a high possibility. I mean, it was around 4:50am. I know I don’t hear things as well that early in the morning. I also hadn’t even consumed my first cupa caffeine.

Those bead locks have waaay too much air.

Do you have a sprayer? I saw a car show the other day and they were using plasti-dip sprayed. I think tan, gray, or even black in matt finish will cover up dents and scratches and should show less imperfections.

I am glad you and your family made it safely. Side of freeway is a dangerous place to park. I was coming home one day and was in second from right lane and see this guy in lifted big ass Chevy truck approaching behind me at very very fast speed. I was going at least 65-70 miles and this dude was doing close to 85-90. So, homeboy swerved to right to pass me, but there was a another car. So, he chose to pass that car from the shoulder, but didn't see the van that was parked on the shoulder and hit that van. It was a horrible accident. I hope no body died in that crash.
I was told by a tow truck driver that if you are ever in this kind of situation where you car dies on freeway, call 511 and they will send the tow truck free of charge that will push you to safety or tow you to next exit.

Try adding bottle of Bourbon with gas as an additive. Who knows it might fix the drunk issues :notsure:

Dude I don't know about Toyota's reliability in newer cars. I personally feel that they have gone down hill on this. I have 09 caddy and I haven't had any issues with it. 6.2L v8 gotta love that beast! When it comes to SUV's I think no one can beat American SUV's when it comes to ride quality and power, but that's my opinion.

Who honked at me this morning on Market St in Concord? See your truck all around town lately. Must work at the dealerships because I mostly see you around there.

Little this. Little that 4x4 Swap’d PreRunner
Throwin it out here before CL or FS threads.

Selling my Tepui Kukenum Ruggedized in Orange

It’s a ‘3’ person tent, slept myself, wife, and 70lbs dog.

Got it a few years ago. Used it maybe 10 times. Selling to go back to a shell.

I estimate it’s 5 years old max from myself and previous owner.

    - New 6-month old cover
    - Replaced all straps/Velcro with heavier duty straps and metal clasps, both interior straps and exterior
    - all ruggedized features remain ( diamond plate base and anti-condensation May under mattress

Rack is the first ‘overland’ rack Jerry @BAMF made. Wanted a low rack with removable sideplates to have carrying capacity of a full rack but kept the tent out of the wind.

    Thinking $1500 OBO.
