So I have someone who can get me the TRD 4Runner pro wheels with 265/70 K02s for 1300.

Right now I’m on factory OR wheels with Toyo MT tires. The tires are at 9k miles and had them for a year. The only thing I don’t like is they E load range and they made my MPG suck with casual driving which is what I do with the taco. But that’s not a deal breaker.

I see a lot of people go for scs wheels but the ones I like of theirs aren’t in stock and from what I’ve seen their inventory goes fast.

Any recommendations you guys care to make? Other wheel brands perhaps? I don’t know a lot when it comes to wheels. I just know which tires I like.

To add, is there any benefit to a 17in rim vs 16in.

Method makes some pretty damn good wheels.

Have you checked SCS recently. They seem to have more stock available for longer periods now. I bought Fuels and then noticed more SCS stock later. I really like that SCS and the TRD wheels are hub centric FWIW.

There’s a lot of benefit with a 17” wheel, including an enormous increase in available tires and sizes, they’re often cheaper than a 16” tire as well.

I have a set of 17" ray 10's in matte dark bronze. I'll sell them for what I paid for them. (I went with 16" wheels)

I did. I liked the SR8 in black but they are sold out of them. I also do know if it’s its worth staying 16in just for the sake of keeping my tires I have. As someone mentioned it can be easier to find tires in a 17in wheel.

Shop for a light rim and tire combo. Your acceleration and braking will be affected by the weight. I got the SCS F5 with Falken Wildpeak AT3W in P265/75-r16 and the combo weighs less than the stock wheels with 245/75r16. Even with the light wheel/tire combo, I feel the V6 power drain from the taller & wider tire on the highway.

You can’t post or attempt to sell anything here without 50 productive posts.

They’ll ban your account, and have been cracking down on that in the past few weeks.
