Headed to the Oregon Dunes tomorrow for a little wheelin. Anyone have a recommendation for a place to stay near Florence? We will be headed south from Cannon Beach.

    Thanks in advance.

It won't help you now, but maybe in the future or in another's search: I find the RV parks to not be much better than a gravel lot full of party bros. But Oregon's state parks are fantastic. There is USFS land too, but it's all inland if you're looking for beach access. I myself like Washburne about 45 minutes North of the dunes because of the beach access via a trail under the road and it would have been on your way.

How were the dunes looking? They are one of Oregon's treasures. Unfortunately drunks (the ban helps) and scotch broom are destroying it.
