Strange. I never received a notification for being tagged.

So sorry for the delay, and you've likely already had your pedicure but..

Go in with clean feet. The individual doing your pedicure is a professional they've come across callouses, corns, bunions, etc long before you walk through that door, so don't worry about what your feet look like as long as they're clean. Don't go in with fungus or open wounds (if you shave your legs, don't shave for ~48 hours to allow any nicks or cuts to heal). That's a no-no for obvious reasons. Explain to them that this is your first time and they'll take care of you. They might ask a few questions, strike up a conversation, or say nothing at all. Don't feel obligated to make small talk though. I usually tip around 20% depending on the quality of service. Wear flip flops or go at the end of the day when you'll go home and not wear shoes or socks. You want your little meat feet and toes to breathe and heal.

Circling back to the issue of hygiene... Go somewhere reputable. New files should be used for each patient. Equipment should be cleaned and sterilized before use. You don't want someone else's nastiness to infect your feet. I've never had an issue with foot fungus or any other infection, but I'm stringently aware of who is going to be touching my feet and where, and I'm damned conscious of my own hygiene.

All that said... Pedicures are awesome.
