Landed in the Tacoma after being in two late model F150s in the past 7 years: 2006 FX4 SCrew & 2013 Platinum SCrew EcoBoost. Went seeking another F150 (6" lifted 2017 XLT Luxury) and a horrible customer service experience placed me down the road looking at the competition. Quickly ruled out the Tundra, and found myself liking a dealer lifted black Sport. I vowed to never own another black vehicle as my OCD won't allow it so the dealer offered me a very competitive price to pick a truck, select my own wheel & tire combo, and have them install the BDS goodies. A local shop did the BDS install, all coordinated by the dealer and included in my invoice.

Call it a Mall Crawler, or Bro Poser, but I've always preferred a lifted truck and this is the most fun vehicle I've owned in 20 years. It'll be well suited for its time at the hunting lease and on the beach.

Couple of lighting updates this weekend. XB fogs were super easy to swap. Luckily with long arms I just swapped them from the top with no liners or grille removal.
Rigid SRM Pro backup kit went very well. Will have to take pics of their output soon. Third vehicle I’ve put their kit on and I’m always pleased.

 

Made a pretty significant interior upgrade today. Katzkin makes a great product.

 

And wrapped the console today with Redline Goods cover and the smaller additional padding. Quite happy as this nicely matches and rounds out the interior.

TRD exhaust added today. Damn I love the sound. Quiet when needed, no drone, and just deep enough with no raspy sound. Pricey but worth it.
