I'd have one of it wasn't for the shit gas mileage. There's a company who had a 5.3 swapped 70 series at 14erfest that I'd really like, it did get better mpg!

I'd have one if they weren't so dang expensive with 200-300k miles on them

True. I've seen 100s cheaper than the rest, but they likely aren't triple locked.

    Speaking of vehicles, Subaru question.

I know the h6 is a great engine for the mid 2000s (i think) outback and legacy. Are there any other decent engines that don't need headgaskets or turbos replaced all the time?

Thinking about another rally cross and beater vehicle option and some of the older subies are inexpensive and I've always wanted a 2.5rs.

My wife has a 2005 LX470. She gets 14 mpg around town and 18 on the highway. One of her nicknames is Mary-o as in Mario Andretti so she is rather heavy on the skinny pedal. My Taco got a little over 19 mpg hwy on my recent trip.

Yup, have the book already. One of these days I'll start reading through it to get a general idea of how this thing works.

Not truck related, but I want to give @Martyinco a bump if you guys are in need of a bathroom remodel, I can say Marty is awesome and does great work for a reasonable price. About a months ago he did my bathroom.D034C57F-CF82-4235-A749-84E583F9D3E8.jpgD7DFAA77-405C-4705-B77A-23E43E644E28.jpg

I "Should" be getting my sliders this week. Hopefully between Monday-Wednesday.

Anyone with some extra space in their garage willing to let me come over and prime/paint/line them? I mainly just need a place for them to sit overnight while the layers dry.

Gotta love when a homeowner informs you that their residence has asbestos, which they found out from the restoration company.

That same restoration company who neglected to disclose that fact to you, and you are the one drilling and ramsetting into asbestos positive concrete.

Always some sort of headache. :censored:

Awesome! Thanks Coop. I'll text you when I get them.

Going to pick up a case of this Self Etching Primer. Thinking maybe 2-3 cans a side for a good coat. As well as the black second coat and bed liner for top.

Something different about residential that doesn't require abatement and inspections and special permits?
