Ive had my windows tinted twice with the same results. Tiny bubbles that don’t go away. First time they where here and there. This time they are everywhere. They look like white donuts. White ring with dark in the middle. Shop has an incredible reputation and does tons of Super high end exotics so I’m thinking experience is not a factor here. Anyone have issues with tinting front windows? Tint material is Suntek.

Nope but sounds like you have a warranty issue with your tint shop.

Yeah they are more than happy to fix it no questions asked or give me refund. They are super professional and stand by their work. They are just scratching their heads trying to figure out the problem. Thought I would check here in the rare case it’s something funky with the glass.

How long are you waiting before you claim they will not go away? You should really leave it in direct sunlight as much as possible to dry up the bubbles. I’ve never heard of a window not being able to be tinted when it just as simple as a door window. I can’t imagine the shop would have any issues cleaning a window. That is part of the process and we need to hear more to give tips.

First time tint went on I waited over 3 weeks for it to cure out in direct sunlight with temps in the mid 70s. The bubbles that I noticed from day one never changed. Second application, same story. over 3 weeks in direct sun mid 70s. This time when I left the shop I noticed that there were a lot more bubbles. I specifically paid attention to the amount of bubbles and where they were located which is basically the entire window. None of them have changed shape or have gone away. Tint shop employee has a 2017 Tacoma that they tinted. No bubbles at all. These guys are seriously stumped. Before each application the windows were razor bladded and cleaned to remove any contamination. The only thing I can think of is defective material. But I won’t think others would be complaining as well as it’s very very obvious that there is an issue.

Yeah that's way too long of a wait, mine had bubbles but went away after 2 days.

Sounds like you need to find a new tint shop
