I am planning to put a set of oem roof racks on my 18 OR after this weekend and am looking for light bar mounts that will bolt on like the rough country ones. Does anyone else make them? Not that the rough country ones at $50 is bad but it shows up to 2015.
Anyone think they will work with 18 or have a link to some more sold elsewhere?

    Rough Country ones....

From what I have read there is no difference between 2nd gen and 3rd gen oem racks besides weight rating.

3rd gen is 100 pounds and 2nd gen is 75.

Also want to add that there's no way a 2nd gen rack is wider if it fits the 3rd gen and vice versa or the cross bars would be off.

People are running them on either gen with no issues.

That was what I was wondering. If they are interchangable and fit then the brackets would fit also.

Indeed, and if it makes you feel better it's on my short list.

Also thanks for this thread as I was un aware of a product like this and was going to mount it to my basket.

SO did you end up getting the mount? I want to do the same thing and was wondering if it worked for you?
