decided i was ready to pull the trigger on a new taco January of this year, had to wait until April because i wanted a manual transmission with a sunroof (premium package). boy was she worth the wait. picked her up at Toyota of Corvallis and spent 6 months exploring OR before moving down the SF Bay Area.

just posted all my scenic pics here over in the 3rd gen forum

here are some other pics with the *minor* mods 20180421_165014.jpg *built not bought* bed crossbars :D

20180526_161947.jpgBlack 'tacoma' lettering and badges (Amazon) and two MTB bikes and rocket box mounted to rack

    20180704_110321.jpg
black wheel vinyl and center cap (@SimplyMuggle ) back badges, plasti-dipped grill

**the vinyl wheel kit for the truck def changed its appearance the most. Im super happy with it and the vinyl looks excactly the same 6 months after i put it on. i wasn't sure what color center caps to get so she sent me a bunch of samples along with my first order, then sent me the right color free.

    20180806_185407.jpg
snug top hi-liner, good shot of the tints (25% to match) and vent visors (amazon)

    20180904_164334.jpg
windoors are def worth the investment!

amp wiring harness (taco tunes) and power wires

Pioneer 5 channel class D amp (walmart)

    IMG_20180511_213648_990.jpg still box building...

Making room for the box. drilled out one child seat anchor, dremmeled off some metal and plastic, sealed off the vent. if i did it again id just cut the plastic vent out and seal over the hole. there is another vent on the other side to prevent cabin pressure issues.

    IMG_20180516_171246_144.jpg
plasti- dipped grille, pioneer TS-SW3002S4 12" shallow mount sub (walmart). i guess i didnt take any pics of it installed, but can snap some if anyone wants.

    20180513_091210.jpg
one of my favorite trips to hood, stumbled upon this dope camp spot on BLM land after a day of skiing. had to tie the hammock up to the new rack

    rivercrossing.jpg
and last but def not least, the biggest pucker moment in the taco, crossing a river at the Oregon Dunes (check out the pics in the third gen forum for more at the dunes). she did great!

glad to be part of the community! def not a big poster but somewhat familiar with the forum game from my honda prelude days. let me know if any of this info should be posted elsewhere on the forums.

next up ill be putting on my bakers hat and painting my headlights. still unsure if ill put angel eyes on since i have the stock DRLs which look great and are plenty bright at night in the city if i have my fogs on. anyone who read this far give me your opinion on yay or nay on the angel eyes!

    taco shakka
