    Hi,

Today I went to install my Tekonsha Voyager controller into the cubby. I removed the cubby / switch plate and then removed the cubby itself (4 screws) from the face plate however, my Voyager does not slide into the opening. I do not want to grind out the cubby to make it fit, I was hoping for, at most, a tight interference fit with the Voyager.

For those of you who have successfully mounted your brake controller in the cubby, what controllers have you used that are slender enough to slide into the cubby opening without trimming the cubby?

Most manufacturing data on controllers gives the shipping dimensions and not the body dimensions.

I am a big fan of the Tekonsha line and this Voyager has been in 2 trucks previously, I love it. However I will change brands if need be to get one that fits nice in the cubby. My only criteria is it must be inertial.

    Thanks in advance,

    Marc

I used the mounting plate for my P3. I don't know the size of the Voyager but might be able to get it to work
