What did you end up making the cone out of?

 

Large scale model rocket nose cone. Craigslist find.
Cut it down to size. It was massive.

 

Very nice. Looks like it fits up pretty decently. I would assume it also helps marginally with MPG from the broadside of that water tank. Good work.

 

It helps a lot. I was surprised by how much. I could feel the shower tank pulling the truck to the left on the freeway before and now it’s not even noticeable. Cut down on wind noise too.

 

Wow that's awesome. So now you should add the fins to create lift, then just skip normal traffic.

 

@YOTA 4X4 , you gotta do this to your road shower when it comes (hilarious AND practical). almost makes me want one now LOL
