Just by reading the specs these are amazing. If I already have the 8100 can I just buy the 9100 panel and swap it?

are the mounting points the same for this and the sp8100?
i just started wiring up my year old sp8100. but might consider this.

i changed some stuff around.. because the sp8100 couldn't handle certain loads hah.

I just got my 9100, and the mounting points are the same as what was pre-drilled for the 8100 in my powertray. So yes.

I think this option is pretty cool as well. I was wondering if you could give me another example as to why one would need two or three panels for one power module? I get having one panel in your truck and maybe one in the bed of the truck in case you are camping or whatnot, but is there another reason someone would need to have two or three panels to turn on and off the same 8 Switches? Plus it has Bluetooth so why wouldn’t one just connect via Bluetooth. Just trying to understand the daisy chaining option a little better.

    That's a good question.

I would say different settings such as strobe effect vs just being on/off or adding a momentary depending on your needs so that's 2 functions for the same button or even 3.

Bluetooth can work as you mentioned but I don't think you can have your phone and say handsfree at the same time. I know you can have streaming music separate (audio) and handsfree audio separate. Also you would have to unlock your phone/wake it up then open the app, be sure it's connected (I think there's an auto connect though) then push the buttons for your function. That's a few more steps than just pressing the 2nd module once.

Come to think about it using the phone you'll have to look where you're touching. The module you could almost get away with feel or muscle memory touching the switches.

I'm sure others can chime in with other ideas.

Is it possible to have a switch enable/disable an output triggered by an input? I would like to trigger my LED bar from the high beam switch, but be able to disable with one of the switches. Possible?
