You know what I don't like, that there is no key way on the passenger side.

I wish I could unlock it from either side.

The driving ergonomics make my Tacoma an in town truck only. I wouldn't hesitate to drive cross country, but my body wouldn't like it. The seat is too low, the pedals are too far away and the steering wheel is too close. I'm 5.9 with a 30 inch inseam and can't find a comfortable position in this truck like my F150

I’m not very picky after reading all these comments  I only dislike the none manly leaf springs these trucks come with. I 99.9% love the truck.

Why not push your "on key" unlock button twice in quick sequence -- it will unlock both doors -- at least it does on my 17 AC

Not impressed with the auto hi beam lights, seems to random. Don’t like the seat or any car/truck seat but I’m biased because I drive a semi. Much better seats. Here’s a 1500 dollar air ride seat

Whistle every time the ac kicks in when on a flat road crushing. I have note from mechanic quoting Toyota... that is all 2018 Tacoma’s... flaw, no safety issue, let you know if we decide to develope a fix for it. Mechanic. said I am not sure they will worry about that since it is not a safety issue.

    Engine tick, tick, tick.

I asked if they could add fog lights. 2018, oh sorry we would have to cut two wires... cannot do it. $70 later I installed them.

Love the taco... but some of the nit picky stuff. Pushing $2000 to upgrade wheels, did that for around 25% of that...

    I know your in business...

I'm not sure if you've seen this before, but a lot of people put anywhere from 0.5 - 2 inch spacers under the rear bolts in the seat rails. I just stacked five 3/16" spacers and got longer bolts, cost me like $10. World of difference though, I recommend this mod to anybody! I'm 6'0 fyi. Much more support under my legs/hips now, and my lower back doesnt hurt anymore. Hope this helps.

Love my Taco, but I totally agree. The auto high beams are EXTREMELY random. Took my Taco on it’s first road trip a few months ago (about a 3 hour drive), will definitely drive my fiancé’s Sonata next long trip.

I did the same with mine. Lifted 2”.

On reflection I had another dislike. Driving in the city using D. My workaround was to use S4 on account of the trans in D wanting to get into OD real quick then hunt for lower gears etc.

I don’t know what was contained in the ECM update that was done last Thursday but it fixed the gear hunting in D. It still like to get into OD as quick as it can but it will now hold the OD gear even when given little gas. If I need to get to a lower gear now it takes bit more throttle to get it to down shift.

How many miles when you took her in for service? I’m approaching 10k and I’m experiencing everything you mentioned.
