Looking for good trips or destinations to take my stock taco on here around Missoula. Not looking for any serious crawling or anything (keep in mind the truck is stock) but want to get a little dirty before the snow really sets in. Please share pictures!

Man, I was looking at jobs up there for shits and giggles and I can't believe how much property costs compared to salary range. Who's making enough money to live in these places?

Montana has lots of people who own large areas of land. Most don't want to give it up, so the area to make sense to develop is very expensive. We visit family over there often, I like it how it is.

Interesting! I never really thought about it, but it looks beautiful.

In some areas, the real focus is on how close can I be to the city center. In Montana, it's how far can I be from my next door neighbor. It's just a different way of life. I'm mainly speaking for the west side, I've never spent any time east of the Rockies, but imagine it's similar.

Wifey is from MT and her family and relatives in the area bitch about California folks moving there all the time. They claim it raises property values / taxes and the locals are forced to move due to the cost of living sky rocketing.

Well shit man, just look at the cost of property. I believe it!

I always figured Montana or Wyoming could be some place I could run away to and live on the cheap.... guess not.
