I'm looking to get new tires and rims for my white 2011 Tacoma TRD Sport (with no lift). The stock tires and rims are 265/65/17. I really like the BFG KO2 tires and TRD SEMA rims. Safe bet is to go with BFG KO2 265/65/17 but we all want bigger without rubbing. (I know, I know, insert dirty joke here).

So the million dollar question everyone wants to know is how big can I go without rubbing and looking bad ass? Do I go 265/65/17, 265/70/17, 275/65/17 or are there other options without lifting the truck?

Also, I have been beating myself up over the TRD SEMA matte black vs. gunmetal gray and white lettering out vs. white lettering in.

    Any thoughts?

White truck = white letters in imo. Can’t go wrong with any wheel color choice on white which is awesome so go with your gut!

I’ll let others chime in on size because bigger is always better :)

Thanks SP. I have had white lettered tires in the past, BFG's and Goodyear Wranglers. Look nice but can also be a bitch keeping clean from brake dust, etc. Hoping pics from other Tacoma World users can help out!

found this calculator using the search function. 265 to 275 is a pretty small jump

    Same crap everyone else got
I have 265 70 r 17 goodyear duratracs on FN fx pro wheels 17x8. Stock 4x4 offroad suspension. I rub turning into my drive way bump and some other times. I already took off all the mudflaps. My prediction is you will rub, but it looks great! i have 885's and 5100 in my garage waiting get put on when I get a free weekend which should stock all the rubbing issues.
