110v/400w AC power in bed--What do you do with it?

    You can't hook anything 12v up to 110v. You will let the magic smoke out.

    There are adapters that will convert 110V to 12V with a "lighter" style socket. I don't know if they draw more than the bed outlet can handle, but it seems unlikely since that would translate to about 43A at 12V.

    If you're planning to use that compressor frequently, it might be simpler to just wire an additional 12V outlet into the bed, either the closed boxes or the little "cubbies" above the wheel-wells make handy mounting locations. You could even get a combo 12V/USB outlet back there and be able to charge phones and such while tailgating (if you use your truck for that purpose).
